Find Me Now (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website findmenow.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI Visibility Scan service.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

When you request a full report, we collect your name, email, optional phone, website, business name, city or service area, priority service and buyer question. Scope requests can also include your message. We use these details to provide the requested report, respond to your inquiry and deliver services you agree to purchase.

Information we collect automatically:

• Analytics data via PostHog, described under Cookies and Analytics below
• We use network and request information for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Report and check records store a one-way hash derived from your IP address, not the address itself.

Information we collect about your business (from your public website):

• Publicly available website content (HTML, meta tags, structured data)
• Google Business Profile data (ratings, reviews — all publicly available)
• Grounded AI answers, citations, and provider usage data returned for the query set

Requests and reports are stored in our service database. Service providers help us host the site, run configured AI and business-data checks, deliver email, protect forms, process payments and schedule calls. We use the details needed for the relevant service; requesting a report does not automatically enroll you in an ongoing marketing sequence.

When you submit a service inquiry, we collect the company, requested service and problem description, alongside your contact details, to respond and prepare a possible scope.

Cookies and Analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage:

• Visit source cookie. On your first visit to one of our public pages, findmenow.ai sets a cookie named fmn-acquisition that lasts 30 days. It records the page you arrived on, any campaign tags in the link you followed (source, medium and campaign), a random visit ID and the time. If you then request a report, send a scope request or submit a service inquiry, this information is saved with your request so we know how you found us. It does not contain your name or email address.
• Private access cookies. When you run a check, request a report or submit a request, we set a cookie that lets your browser open your own private check, report or receipt. Report access ends when the private link expires.
• PostHog analytics. PostHog, our analytics provider, stores a random identifier in a first-party cookie and in your browser's local storage. It records the pages you view, including moves between pages on our site, when you leave a page, and certain actions such as clicking some buttons or starting a form. We do not use PostHog to record every click or keystroke, and we do not record your screen. On private check, report and admin pages, only a limited set of events is sent, with identifying details removed, and private link identifiers are removed from page addresses before anything is sent. Our servers also send PostHog summary events about checks and reports, such as whether a report completed, linked to a random reference rather than your name or email. Like any website request, requests to PostHog include standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without the visit source and analytics cookies. Blocking private access cookies can prevent your browser from opening your own check or report.

How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your AI Visibility Scan report
• To send you your scan results via email
• To respond to visibility review requests you submit (submissions are stored and a notification is emailed to hello@findmenow.ai)
• To schedule and hold appointments you book with us
• To process payments and deliver purchased services
• To improve our scanning engine and report quality
• To prevent abuse and protect our service

We do NOT:

• Sell your email address or personal data to third parties
• Send unsolicited marketing emails beyond your scan results
• Store your data longer than necessary to provide our service
• Use your information for purposes unrelated to Find Me Now

Data Retention

Private report access links expire after 30 days. Expiry ends access through the link; it does not by itself delete the report or your contact details. Email hello@findmenow.ai to request access to or deletion of your information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any future communications

For California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You may request disclosure of what data we collect and request its deletion.

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (delivering the scan you requested) and consent (email collection). You may withdraw consent at any time.
